Laurie Elmore Thompson is a published author, an accomplished inspirational speaker and singer, Bible teacher, and songwriter. Laurie was critically injured in a tragic car accident at the age of 14. She grew up in Anderson, SC, completed a business degree at Clemson University and earned a Bible Certificate from Columbia Biblical Seminary, Columbia SC. Laurie also completed a Masters of Divinity in Women’s Studies/Biblical Languages at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Forest, NC.
She and her husband, Kevin, are in full-time ministry. Kevin serves as a 
full-time Chaplain for a local hospice while also serving part-time as a Chaplain in the SC Army National Guard. Laurie manages her independent ministry and regularly contributes writings to other websites. They have three children: Luke, Lydiaruth and Canaan. Kevin and Laurie and their family reside in Anderson, SC.
